Once per quarter (in the third month of the quarter) we deviate from our usual format in order to explore topics of special interest to business women more in depth. We have a panel of 3 experts in their field discuss the latest trends and respond to your questions.

In order to give our experts (and you) the time to explore the topic, we expand the time of our normal luncheon. Here is the timing for our next luncheon event:

We are excited to have an accomplished panel of women in various aspects of the beauty and fashion industries.

The panelists include:

  • Cathy Cleveland | Ebrada Atelier Bridal & Formal

    clevelandCathy Cleveland is the owner of Ebrada Atelier Bridal and Formal, a full service dress salon located at the Village at Leesburg, specializing in beautiful bridal designer gowns and unique evening gowns and dresses. They carry designs from their very own Cathy Ebrada Designs, Aire Barcelona, Destination Bridal, Lela Rose, Alfred Sung, Cathy Jane (flower girls dresses), Siman Tu bridal accessories, Diya designs and many more. Since Ebrada is an atelier, they also offer custom sewing, fabric beading, alteration, restoration, and preservation.Prior to opening Ebrada Atelier in 2009, Cathy was a manager at Kate Spade, a bridal consultant with Vera Wang, a New York freelance stylist, and a personal shopper & stylist at Saks Fifth Avenue.

  • Michael Helene Phillips, Owner of Michael Helene Salon

    phillipsMichael Helene has been in the hair care industry for 13 years. She has worked behind the chair, behind the camera, in film and television and was the regional education director for Toni and Guy Tigi on the East Coast. Her dream of owning her own hair salon came about through her passion and love for the industry and making people look and feel great. While working in the salon and teaching for 10 years she honed her skill as a top of the line hair and makeup artist, doing fashion shows, taking classes, teaching classes and even working on such films as Pirates of the Caribbean and Cold Mountain.

    She enjoys teaching her clients how to care for their hair themselves and promotes the idea of the importance of personalization to her staff. Michael is an artistic colorist, a precise hair cutter, and a visionary long hair dresser as well as a personal therapist to many of her clients. "I believe that hair is the ultimate accessory. It's the one thing you wear every day. It can be the deciding factor between a good day and a bad day in many of our lives. My job is to make you many more good days."

  • Tracie Rosales, Owner of Makeup Artistry by Tracie

    rosalesTracie Rosales' love of fashion and make-up began at an early age. Upon graduating college graduation, she realized that her passion was within the Cosmetics Industry and decided to go to the National Makeup Academy and then went to MAC school. Once moving to Northern Virginia with her husband, Tracie decided to start her own company "Makeup Artistry by Tracie".

    In the six years that Makeup Artistry by Tracie has been a company, it has been honored with several awards and milestones. In 2007, The Washington Mystics (WNBA) invited Tracie to participate in events and work with them, which she does every year. In 2008, MABT was invited to the White House's staff appreciation day, to speak about skin care and makeup. MABT was also honored by winning the 2008 Home Based Business of the Year. In 2009 Makeup Artistry by Tracie received the title of being Northern Virginia Magazine's: Best of: Makeup Application and was featured in the magazine. And in 2010 MABT was nominated for Loudoun County Small Business of the Year. Tracie has worked on the NOVA Fashion Week Makeup Team and recently was asked to be on the NY Bridal Fashion Week Team. Tracie has also spent time mentoring with top Makeup artists such as Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga's hair and makeup team. In her free time, she is the beauty editor for a national blog MissA and spends time with her family.
